Analysis of Structure and Cost Structure of Various Types of Power Battery Vehicle Systems in China's New Energy Automobile Industry in 2017
The pure electric vehicle consists mainly of the power system, the drive motor system, the vehicle controller and the auxiliary system. The internal combustion engine car is mainly composed of the engine, the chassis, the body and the electric equipment. The engine converts the thermal energy generated by the combustion of the fuel into mechanical energy, and then transmits the power to the driving wheels through the transmission mechanism on the chassis to drive the vehicle. Compared with internal combustion engine vehicles, pure electric vehicles have eliminated the engine, and the transmission mechanism on the chassis has changed. Depending on the driving method, some components have been simplified or omitted, and the power supply system and the drive motor system have been added. Typical pure electric vehicles consist of power supply systems, drive motor systems, vehicle controllers and auxiliary systems. The power battery outputs electric energy, and the motor controller drives the motor to generate power, and then the power is transmitted to the driving wheel through the speed reducing mechanism to drive the electric vehicle.
Plug-in hybrid vehicles combine both an engine and a motor, including series, parallel, and hybrid. In the series hybrid electric vehicle, the electric energy generated by the generator and the electric energy output by the power battery are output to the driving motor to drive the vehicle, and the electric drive is the only driving mode. The parallel hybrid system uses two independent drive systems, the engine and the drive motor, to drive the wheels. The engine and the drive motor drive the wheels through the power coupler and the speed reduction mechanism, and the engine can be driven separately, the drive motor is driven separately or the engine and the drive motor are mixed and driven in three working modes. The hybrid drive system is a combination of series and parallel. The power from the engine is partly transmitted to the drive axle through the mechanical transmission system, and the other part drives the generator to generate electricity.
New energy vehicles "have to get a complete battery for power batteries." The biggest cost of new energy vehicles is in the "three major" systems of batteries, motors and electronic controls, and the cost of power batteries is the top priority. From the perspective of the cost structure of new energy vehicles, power systems account for about 50% of the total, of which batteries account for 38%, and electronic control and motors account for about 12%. Overall, the cost of new energy vehicles is currently about twice that of conventional fuel vehicles.
