According to public information, the ACP1000 is marked by the 177 core, active + passive safety concept and double-layer containment technology. It plans to start construction in the next year, and has completed the top-level design and transferred to the overall design and development stage; The ACPR1000 is scheduled to fully complete its R&D work in 2013. It has the first implementation conditions, and it has carried out a number of technological innovations in terms of safety and maturity, such as the use of 14-foot fuel assembly cores and single-stack placement. ACPR1000+ is the third generation of nuclear power technology developed by China Guangdong Nuclear Power Co., Ltd.; CAP1400 is to innovate and build a large-scale advanced pressurized water reactor nuclear power technology brand with more independent intellectual property rights based on the introduction, digestion and absorption of AP1000. As a major national special project, the demonstration project is expected to start construction in 2013 and will be connected to the grid at the end of December 2017.
