Energy-saving policies help efficient motor development
A few days ago, the State Council held a standing meeting to study policies and measures to promote the consumption of energy-efficient home appliances, energy-saving cars, high-efficiency motors, etc., and decided to arrange 1.6 billion yuan to support the promotion of high-efficiency motors. Affected by this good news, the stock prices of energy-saving automobile and motor listed companies have risen to varying degrees in recent days.
As a market segment, high-efficiency motors are the least mentioned industries in the scope of this subsidy. They are also the first time the State Council has expressed its support and promotion, which shows the country's emphasis on the efficient motor industry.
China has become a major motor manufacturing country, mastering the production technology of high-efficiency and ultra-efficient energy-saving motors, but overall, the industry competitiveness is still weak. The large amount of motor and low energy efficiency limit the healthy development of China's national economy. High-efficiency motors have been widely used in the United States, and most of the country is still using ordinary motors with the following three levels. Affected by factors such as large investment in research and development and high manufacturing costs, the price of high-efficiency and energy-saving motors is high and cannot be promoted vigorously and vigorously. This has further widened the gap between China's current motor energy efficiency level and foreign countries. Information asymmetry, misplaced ideas, market irregularities, and lack of awareness of energy conservation have also become obstacles in promotion.
In recent years, China has actively studied and introduced incentive policies. After the launch of the energy-saving products Huimin project in 2009, more than 5 million kilowatts of high-efficiency motors were promoted in three years. At the beginning of 2011, the Ministry of Finance and the National Development and Reform Commission issued the Notice on Doing a Good Job in Promoting Energy-Efficient Motors in 2011. In March of that year, Hunan Xiangtan held the 2011 National High-efficiency Motor Promotion Work Conference. The promotion task for the year was 31.77 million kilowatts, accounting for about 30% of the domestic domestic motor sales. At the same time, the two ministries and commissions will increase the subsidy standards for high-efficiency energy-saving small and medium-sized three-phase asynchronous motors, high-voltage three-phase asynchronous motors and rare earth permanent magnets respectively. It can be seen that the country is determined to promote high-efficiency and energy-saving motors.
The 1.6 billion subsidies arranged today can be regarded as the vane for further development of high-efficiency motors. Although the scale of subsidies is a drop in the output value of the motor industry, it is still considered to have a clear effect. The data shows that the growth rate of industrial added value, total import and export, electricity consumption and other indicators fell to single digits in April, which shows that the economy is still in a downward trend, especially the industrial added value and the decline in export data is very large. The overall economy is still in the process of bottoming out. Based on the relevant policies in 2009, this policy pays more attention to promoting the combination of domestic demand and structural adjustment, thereby promoting energy conservation and emission reduction and industrial restructuring.
Some analysts believe that in 2012, under the background of relevant policies, the market situation of high-efficiency energy-saving motors will be more optimistic. The use of financial subsidies can mobilize the enthusiasm of high-efficiency motor users to purchase, and gradually improve the industry mechanism, and ultimately achieve financial subsidies to guide market demand to start product structure adjustment energy efficiency standards to improve the industrial optimization and upgrading of a virtuous circle. Some experts said that from 2012 to 2016, China's new energy vehicle motor and control system market capacity will be more than 50 billion yuan. With the implementation of the new energy vehicle support policy, the automotive motor industry will usher in the golden period of development.
