GE launches digital wind power plants and high efficiency turbines
General Electric, a US-based diversified group, has launched a digital wind power plant that generates 30% more electricity per year than the previous generation.
General Electric said in a statement: "The digital wind power plant is a dynamic, connected and adaptable wind energy ecosystem that utilizes big data and analytics and is equipped with a world-class digital infrastructure turbine. Power generation, lower costs, and the availability and productivity of wind power plants."
According to the statement, the launch of the digital wind power station heralds the beginning of an important stage in India's renewable energy technology innovation.
GE said the digital wind farm uses the Industrial Internet and the company's Predix platform to improve asset performance, optimize operations and enhance business performance.
