1. The accuracy error of the general stepping motor is 3-5 % of the step distance angle, and it does not accumulate.

2. The maximum temperature allowed by the exterior of the stepping motor.

The high temperature of the stepper motor will first demagnetize the magnetic material of the motor, so that the lead moment will drop or even miss. Therefore, the maximum temperature allowed by the motor surface should depend on the demagnetization point of the magnetic material of different Motors; In general, magnetic materials have demagnetization points above 130 degrees Celsius, and some even up to 200 degrees Celsius, so the external temperature of the stepping motor is completely normal at 80-90 degrees Celsius.

3. The torque of the stepping motor will decrease with the increase of the speed.

When the step motor rotates, the inductance of each phase winding of the motor will form a reverse electromotive force; The higher the frequency, the greater the reverse electromotive force. Under its action, the motor decreases the phase current with the increase of frequency(or speed), thus leading to a decrease in the commitment moment.

4. The stepping motor can operate normally at low speeds, but it can not be started at a certain speed and is accompanied by howling.

The stepping motor has a technical parameter: the idling start frequency, that is, the pulse frequency that the stepping motor can start normally under the idling condition. If the pulse frequency is higher than this value, the motor can not start normally and may lose step or plug. In the case of loads, the startup frequency should be lower. If the motor is to rotate at high speed, the pulse frequency should have an acceleration process, that is, the starting frequency is lower, and then the acceleration is increased to the desired high frequency(the motor speed rises from low speed to high speed).
