National enterprises rise
At this year's TCT Asia Exhibition, Han's Laser brought the first DLP technology super 3D printer with independent intellectual property rights in China, and made a live demonstration. Although the maturity of the equipment has yet to be further improved, it marks that in the frontier 3D printing field, the gap between China and the international advanced level is gradually narrowing, and national enterprises are catching up. At the same time, we also learned that the core technology is completely developed independently by Han's laser, and all key technologies have applied for intellectual property rights.
In January 2014, in order to rapidly realize the industrialization of 3D printing technology, Huazhong Science and Technology Industry Group led the joint venture with Huazhong CNC and Hexu Holdings to form Huake 3D and implement the 3D printing industrialization project of Huazhong University.
At the end of 2016, China Second Heavy Machinery Group invested heavily in the application and development of 3D printing technology for aviation and military products. In 2016, Xi'an Platinum Laser Forming Technology Co., Ltd. of Northwestern Polytechnical University conducted research on 3D printing and forging composite processing technology for forging blanks, and has achieved some results.
Dongfang Electric Group Dongfang Motor Co., Ltd. made a breakthrough in the 3D printing technology of copper alloy materials, and the physical model was changed to laser metal 3D printing technology, which greatly shortened the cycle and reduced the cost.
Today, "Industry 4.0" and "Made in China 2025" provide unprecedented opportunities for cornering overtaking in China, and technologies such as 3D printing and laser manufacturing will help China's manufacturing upgrades. It is expected that more national enterprises that adhere to self-reliance and independent research and development will emerge, and the highlands of 3D printing will be won, and 3D printing will be promoted in China.
New opportunities for motor companies
As an emerging industry, 3D printing is not only a manufacturing trend but also supported by the government. The prospects are good, and it is a new growth point for motor companies.
The motor is a very important power component on the 3D printer. Generally, the stepper motor is used for 3D printing. As a high-precision 3D printer, the requirements for the motor are high. In addition to the environment and power, the requirements of speed, start, speed regulation, mechanical characteristics and installation must be considered.
A printer has four 3D printer motors, the X-axis, the Y-axis, and the nozzle. The motor is responsible for moving positioning in the three axes, so the quality of the motor is directly related to the print quality. If the accuracy of the motor is slightly poor, the raw material sprayed from the nozzle will be too much or too little, which will result in poor printing results.
In addition to accuracy, other performance is also related to the quality of 3D printers. Be aware that as the 3D printer prints, the motor temperature will gradually increase. A motor with poor performance is prone to heat when the current is large, causing the motor to stop or lose steps. In the same working environment, the motor with good quality will be much better, and the printing will not be terminated due to the motor failure.
