Propulsion motor frequency conversion

According to reports, the current operating efficiency of China's motor systems is generally low and energy consumption is high. Compared with the international advanced level, it is 20%~30% lower. This analysis comes from Xiong Huawen, deputy director of the Energy Efficiency Center of the Energy Research Institute of the National Development and Reform Commission.

Investigating the low efficiency of the motor system, he believes that the two major problems are in the process. First, the motor and the driven device itself are inefficient; the second is that the system matching and adjustment methods are unreasonable, resulting in low system efficiency. The specific performance is that the equipment is outdated. At present, the electric motors used in China are mainly Y series motors and a considerable part of JQ2 series motors promoted in the 1980s, and their efficiency is 2~3 percentage points lower than that of Y2 series motors. In addition, the equipment such as blown fans and pumps are behind, resulting in an efficiency of 3 to 5 percentage points lower than that of developed countries.

In addition, the big horse car is a serious phenomenon. For a long time, due to poor equipment reliability and poor design thinking, many users consider the safety factor to be large in the selection, generally taking 10%~15% margin. Moreover, the motor and the driven equipment have few varieties and specifications, and the grades are large, and the actual selection is generally high, which causes the system installation to be much higher than the actual needs. As a result, many equipment systems operate in low-load areas for a long time, causing great waste.

It is of great significance to remanufacture inefficient motors into high-efficiency motors. Chen Weihua, secretary-general of the China Electrical and Mechanical Industry Association's Small and Medium Motors Branch, analyzed that China's motor use is about 1.5 billion kilowatts, and it is only 30 million kilowatts in Shanghai alone. Most of these are ordinary low-efficiency motors, and huge amounts of inefficient motors are not replaced. There is a huge gap in the goal of completing energy conservation and emission reduction tasks by 2020.

Based on this, the industry is deeply worried about its status quo and has a deeper understanding of the responsibilities and missions of the low-carbon economy era.

Advancing frequency conversion technology and application

During the 12th Five-Year Plan period, the innovation and transformation of the motor industry presented various opportunities and challenges. In order to promote its sustainable and healthy development, experts in the industry have made suggestions and suggestions on how to tap the energy saving potential of the motor system and how to turn the potential into reality.

Co-sponsored by China National Standardization Association, National Energy Conservation and Emission Reduction Standardization Technology Alliance, EU Delegation to China, China National Institute of Standardization, China Energy Conservation Association Energy Conservation Service Industry Committee and Grundfos (China) Investment Co., Ltd. The 2nd International Symposium on Frequency Conversion and Energy Saving and Emission Reduction of Motor Systems. The seminar focused on four major topics such as the analysis of the energy-saving potential of China's motor system and the exploration of the support mechanism for the frequency conversion of motor systems.

Chen Weihua said that it is necessary to fully seize the favorable opportunity of the country to develop and cultivate strategic emerging industries and promote the energy-saving engineering of motor systems and the promotion of high-efficiency motors, vigorously carry out technological innovation and business innovation, and accelerate the transformation of structural adjustment and development mode.

Yang Cheng, chairman and general manager of Hebei Electric Machinery Co., Ltd., said that it is necessary to play a supporting role in science and technology and to establish the economic growth of the motor industry in the continuous optimization of product structure. He believes that further development of motor energy conservation work, not only to vigorously promote the development of frequency conversion technology, but also to promote applications.

Properly guiding users to use energy-saving inverter technology is an important task. As the initiator and main support organization of the conference, the Danish Grundfos Group is the world's largest pump manufacturer, with a large number of motors per year. Over the years, the Group has been adhering to the principle of promoting energy conservation and emission reduction, developing a low-carbon economy, and promoting sustainable development, and promoting motor energy conservation. Yan Jianya, the director of China's public affairs at Grundfos, made it clear that promoting energy conservation and emission reduction is not only about paying attention to the R&D and technological transformation of motor manufacturing enterprises, but also guiding users is also an important task.

According to Yan Jianya, the current use of energy-saving motors has blind spots. If the system design is unreasonable, it will cause unnecessary waste. On one side, the price of the inverter motor is high, and there is no scientific estimation of the efficiency and benefit of the motor life cycle. He believes that narrowing the gap between China's motor system and the world's average energy efficiency level requires many efforts. To make a small contribution to China's energy conservation and emission reduction and low-carbon economy construction is based on the responsibility, vision and innovative corporate values that Grundfos has always adhered to. Grundfos hopes to cooperate with China Standardization Association and National Energy Conservation and Emission Reduction Standardization Technology Alliance to utilize our energy efficiency experience in the field of pumps, and will continue to spare no effort to promote the scientific transformation of the motor system and promote the development of low-carbon economy in the whole society.
