Siemens once again provides long-term service for China Shipping Hainan Power Generation Co., Ltd.

Siemens recently renewed a long-term service agreement with China Shipping Hainan Power Generation Co., Ltd. (Yangpu Power Plant) under CNOOCG and Power. According to the service agreement, Siemens will provide 10 years of service for two SGT5-2000E gas turbine units of Yangpu Power Plant, including planned maintenance, unit life extension, spare parts, technical support, upgrade and project management.

GeryNocker, Executive Vice President of Siemens (China) Co., Ltd. and General Manager of Power Generation Group Asia, attended the signing ceremony held in Haikou on April 21 and said: "We are very pleased to further deepen mutual trust with Yangpu Power Plant. Partnership, through a long-term service agreement with Yangpu Power Plant, we will continue to support the plant's optimal performance and lifecycle assets for the next decade."

Long-term service projects provide customers with highly flexible maintenance services while ensuring maximum operational efficiency and availability of the plant. The long-term maintenance service program also ensures the highest operational performance and minimizes risks within the agreed services, thus greatly reducing the risk management costs of customers.

The agreement will enable Yangpu Power Plant to leverage Siemens' professional project management services and provide professional services from Siemens' regional service offices (DSO) experts and global resource network in China.

Yangpu Power Plant is the first power plant in China to use the Siemens SGT5-2000E gas turbine unit. The two SGT5-2000E gas turbine units of the plant have been extremely reliable and usable since they were put into operation in 1995.
