Unstable operation can cause damage to generator rental

The normal operation of the generator rental requires the operator to strictly follow the operating specifications. The orderly operation is an important factor to ensure the smooth progress of the work. If there are some factors that are not stable, the depreciation and damage of the unit will be accelerated. So here are five common messy operations for everyone.

(1) After the cold start, it will run with load without warming up:

When the diesel engine is started, due to the large viscosity of the oil and poor fluidity, the oil supply of the oil pump is insufficient, and the friction surface of the machine is poorly lubricated due to lack of oil, causing rapid wear and even failures such as pulling the cylinder and burning the tile. Therefore, after the diesel engine is cooled, it should be warmed up at idle speed. When the standby oil temperature reaches 40°C or above, it will be loaded with load. The machine should start with low gear and start to travel for a certain distance in each gear until the oil temperature is normal and the oil supply is sufficient. After that, you can switch to normal driving.

(2) Stop immediately after a sudden stop with load or suddenly remove the load:

After the diesel engine is turned off, the cooling water circulation stops, the heat dissipation capacity is drastically reduced, and the heat-receiving member loses cooling, which may cause the cylinder head, the cylinder liner, the cylinder block and the like to overheat, cause cracks, or cause the piston to excessively expand and hang in the cylinder liner. On the other hand, if the diesel engine is stopped without idling, the friction surface will be insufficiently oily. When the diesel engine is started again, the wear will be aggravated due to poor lubrication. Therefore, the diesel engine should be unloaded before the flameout, and gradually reduce the speed and no-load operation for a few minutes.

(3) Thundering the throttle after the cold start of the diesel engine:

If the throttle is slammed, the speed of the diesel engine will rise sharply, which will cause some frictional surfaces on the machine to wear out due to dry friction. In addition, when the throttle is hit, the piston, the connecting rod and the crankshaft have large variations in the receiving force, causing severe impact and easily damaging the machine.

(4) Throw the throttle before the flameout:

If the high-speed diesel engine suddenly stops running, its huge inertia will damage the parts of the crank-link mechanism and the valve train and shorten the service life. At the same time, the slamming throttle is that the fuel flows down the cylinder wall due to excessive fuel entering the cylinder and is completely burned, diluting the lubricating oil. In addition, the piston, the valve and the combustion chamber are significantly increased in coke formation, causing the injector to become clogged and the piston to be stuck.

(5) When the temperature of the diesel engine is too high, suddenly add cooling water:

If the cooling water is suddenly added when the diesel engine is overheated, the cylinder head, cylinder liner, cylinder, etc. will be cracked due to drastic changes in heat and cold. Therefore, when the temperature of the diesel engine is too high, the load should be removed first, and the speed should be slightly increased. After the water temperature drops, the diesel engine is turned off, and the water radiator cover is loosened to eliminate water vapor. Slowly inject cooling water into the water radiator if necessary.
